DIN 934 is the standard for Hexagon Nuts developed by the German Standardization Association, and grade 8 refers to its hardness level. According to DIN 934, hexagon nuts can be divided into the following categories:
1. Full-threaded Hexagon Nut (Vollgewinde Sechskantmuttern) : The thread of the full-threaded hexagon nut covers the height of the whole nut.
2. Semi-threaded hexagon nut (Halbgewinde Sechskantmuttern) : The thread of the semi-threaded hexagon nut only covers a part of the height of the nut, and the other part is smooth.
